The Short Answer

Is Crestview a Good Place to Live?

Yes, if you value more home for your money over being close to the beach.

Crestview is the county seat of Okaloosa County and one of its fastest-growing cities, with about 28,800 residents and a young median age of about 32. It sits up on the high ground of North Okaloosa, where the pine forests take over and I-10 cuts right through town.

It's not a beach town, and it's not a shopping or nightlife destination. What it does better than anywhere nearby is give you a newer, bigger home with a real yard at a price that's hard to find closer to the coast.
